Rewiring the Homo Sapiens

Our tendency is to often dissociate our tools from our lives, while history suggests that technology is continually revamping human culture. (Whether it is the invention of the hunting spear, language itself, or almighty Google, the things we create always come back to change the way we live as individuals and as a society.) Here we explore some of these transformative impacts of new media on our habits and routines, and also on the neurological processes of our brains.

An ever-increasing segment of our lives is embedded in the technologies that connect us to each other. There are obvious implications of this reality for all of us, as our relationships also entwine our professions, enjoyments and dreams. The interplay between human relationship and online collaboration (and the technology that drives it) is something that should be thoughtfully considered by everyone.
